By the age of 21, Andrew Bogusch had been in the Mets and Yankees clubhouse, called a Division one basketball game on radio and hosted One on One, New York’s Longest Running Sports Call in Show. Bogusch was afforded all of these opportunities because of Fordham University and its radio station WFUV. Bogusch’s collegiate experience eventually turned into a full time national radio job as today he works for CBS Sports Radio on the John Feinstein Show.
On this edition of the Game Time Podcast, I talk with Andrew about working with ESPN’s Tony Reali and the Pac 12 Network’s Mike Yam in college, covering Smush Parker in his only season at Fordham and doing a national radio show five days a week. Plus, we chat about Andrew’s favorite moments at Fordham, play by play great Marty Glickman and his long suffering New York Mets.
