
While many young basketball players growing up in Indiana dreaming of playing for Indiana University, Dan Dakich was never one of those people. The Indiana native never thought it would be possible for him to play for the Hoosiers. That all changed when an IU happened to show up to one of the best high school games Dakich ever played. After taking a recruiting trip to Indiana and meeting Coach Bobby Knight, Dakich knew he was destined to be a Hoosier.
